Swing into Spring: Camp Wetu @ Mount Hope Farm
Spring is just around the corner and we’re inviting YOU to join us for all the good stuff that comes with it. Some of this includes new growth in our gardens and the journey of welcoming new baby goats!
Our Spring session of Camp Wetu will run from Monday, April 17th thru Friday, April 21st 2017 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with an extended day option available (3 pm-5 pm). It’s a perfect fit for kids ages 6-12. Fun games, crafts, indoor and outdoor play, and learning including lots of face time with our Barnyard animals, experiments and brainstorming on new ideas and ways to do things, and doing our part to plant and grow food and community here at the Farm.
Camp Leadership: Our Camp Wetu team will be led by Director Frank Campo. All Farm staff are CPR and First Aid Certified and are required to complete a national Criminal Background Check.
Registration: Our registration fee is $225 per child, with Mount Hope Farm members receiving a discounted rate of $200 until March 1st. After March 1st, pricing will be $250 for all registrants. In addition, all of those who register by March 1st will receive an additional 10% discount off of the above registration fee. With full week enrollment only, there is a $30 sibling discount which applies to each additional sibling. We are pleased to offer an extended day option for working families from 3pm-5pm; the price of an extended day for the week is $50 or $12/day. Also available are single day options that exclude discounts; $60/day if you register before March 1st and $70/day if you register after March 1st. SPACE IS LIMITED so register early! Registration deadline is April 14th.
Cancellations: A refund less $50 will be issued for cancellations received by April 1, 2017. No refunds will be issued after that date. Mount Hope Farm reserves the right to cancel sessions due to low enrollment and a full refund will be issued. Most camp sessions have a minimum of twelve and a maximum of 25 campers.
