Camp Wetu’s mission is to offer children ages six to twelve years old a camp experience that educates, engages, and enhances their confidence in their innate ability to nurture themselves, their community, and the planet. We are proud to incorporate Mount Hope Farm’s history; mission and whole community into our camp goals and motto “Learn from the past, look to the future, and celebrate today.”
Community Commitment, Inspiration and Leaership
The inspiration and leadership behind Camp Wetu is Mount Hope Farm’s Deputy Director, Frank Campo. Passionate about healthy lifestyles and personal empowerment, and a native Bristolian committed to the local community, Frank is the perfect fit for our camp for kid’s 6-12 years. And, every camper will attest to that! Under Frank’s leadership, the Farm’s camp programming has hosted hundreds of happy kids, building confidence, lifetime friendships, and an expanded awareness of their place in history and the world.
As the Farm’s Deputy Director, Frank also manages special event staffing, provides leadership to our resident 4H program, and manages the Farm’s partnership with the James L. Maher Center. Frank holds a BS in Sports Management from Endicott College, an MBA from Salve Regina University, and is a certified coach and personal trainer.
